Charles Thomas Ames Charles Thomas Ames passed away at Grande Prairie Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1981, at the age of 87. He was born in Creeford, Man., and was a long time resident of Bezanson. He was a former member of the West Smoky Legion. He is survived by his wife Elsie of Bezanson; two sisters: Myrtle Duncan and Ruby Wingrove, both of Port Coquitlam, B.C.; two brothers: Harold of Brandon, Man., and Fred of Bezanson; three grandchildren: Jean (Chris) Miller of Bezanson, Ernie (Debbie) of Calahoo, Alta., and Howard (Dianne) of Sexsmith; five great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by one son, Prince, in 1955. Funeral service for the late Charles Thomas Ames will be held at Oliver Funeral Chapel tomorrow at 2 p.m. Interment at Glen Leslie Cemetery, Canon E P Williston officiating.
