KING, Corey Jason: April 20, 1971 - October 16, 1995

Corey King
Corey King. lifetime resident of the Bezanson, Grande Prairie area, passed away suddenly on October 16, 1995 at the youthful age of 24 years. Corey fought a courageous and unexpected battle with the same determination he lived with in his day to day life. He by all means was a fighter and was very unwilling to give in.
Corey has sadly left behind to still love him, his wife Audra and the absolute love of his life, his precious little girl Jordon Taylor, four years old; his mother, Lois Miller and her husband Lynn of Bezanson; his father, Chancellor King and his wife Lorraine and daughter Melanie of Oyen, Alta. He was in all sense of the word, a big brother to his brothers, Kevin, 21 and Ryan, 15 of Bezanson. He will be lovingly thought of always by his mother-in-law, Susan Holland of Grande Prairie; brother-in-la Paul Ross of Edmonton; sister-in-law Alison Ross and her boyfriend Remi Laflamme of Sexsmith.
His memories will be treasured by his grandparents forever: maternal grandfather, Les Burrows of Grande Prairie; paternal grandmother, Alma King of Valhalla; and an inherited set of grandparents, Doug and Gerry Dunn of Duffield, Alta.
Corey will be leaving an unfillable void in the lives of all his aunts, uncles and cousins who because of the size of the families are too numerous to mention. Corey will be remembered and loved by his best bud, Aaron Ruptash and his wife Christine, the circle of friendships is so vast that it would be impossible in mention them all.
He will be missed greatly and thought of often by whoever's loves he has been apart of.  Even though it was only for a short period of 24 years, we are all very thankful for all the wonderful times that were given to us just by knowing and loving Corey.
Corey was predeceased by his maternal Grandmother, Wilma Burrows and grandmother Dorothy Miller and his grandfather Carlyle Miller.
Corey's family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to an Educational trust Fund for his daughter Jordon Taylor through Sheila Doll of Mutual Life.
Visitation for the late Corey King will be held on Friday, October 20, 1995 from 7-9 p.m. at Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel, 10005-107 Avenue.
Funeral service for the late Corey King will be held at the Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel on Saturday, October 21, 1995 at 11 a.m. with Captain Dave Grice officiating. Interment in the Glen Leslie Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel, "Funeral Administrators and Directors", 10005 - 107 Ave. Grande Prairie. Telephone 532-4732. "To serve as we would be served"
