| John H. Engelbert, Sr. 84, of Grande Prairie On Saturday, March 7, 1992, Mr. John H. Engelbert, Sr. passed away at the Grande Prairie Care Centre. Grande Prairie, Alberta, at age 84. Mr. Engelbert was born in Maastricht, Holland, and had been a long-time resident of the Peace River Country. He is survived by his children: Henry (Mary) of Alexis Creek, B.C., Joseph (Mary) at Fort St. John, B.C., Mark (Jeanette) of Whitecourt, Elizabeth (Gerald) Fritsma of Grande Prairie, and John (Donna) of Bezanson; his grandchildren: Mark, Wayne, Charlie and Leah Engelbert: Yvonne (Kevin) Pearson, Michelle (Arlen) Brekkas, Watson Engelbert: Ron. Roger, and Matthew Engelbert ; Dean Fritsma:; and Scott and Crystal Engelbert: also one great-grandchild, Rebecca Brekkas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives in Holland. John was predeceased by his wife Elisabeth in 1987. Funeral service for the late John Engelbert will he held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Grande Prairie, Alberta, on Tuesday, March 10, 1992, 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Glen Leslie Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at Oliver Funeral Chapel, Grande Prairie, on Monday evening, March 9, 1992, at 7:45 p.m. Memorials to the Alberta Heart Foundation, or the charity of one's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
